August 28, 2004 = 1st Bash
ChooChooH3's first bash was a great success.  Hared by CK & ReRun, attendance was good (Captain Fro Ranger, Papillion LePeu, Thunder Pony and Hall Pass) & the hares managed to not get caught, despite painting themselves into a corner more than once.  The hash began at Barger School & ended in CK's back yard after a tricky check-back at Barger to CK's place - bet no one ever thought they'd see a check-back made out of garbage, did they?  Bashers traveled through the Brainerd area, including drainage ditches, up steep hills (onto exit ramps), through "locked" church fences (mad props to Thunder Pony for actually trying the gate before heaving the bike over the fence like Hall Pass, Fro & Cooter).  Halfway was the bowling alley Applebee's where tall beers flowed like wine (except for Fro, who had straight vodka & for Hall Pass, who had an 8-ball of coke before his shorty beer).  The second half began @ the Brainerd CVS & took bashers through yet more 'hoods with more intersections & more whichy-ways.  Those in attendance said the bash was very enjoyable, & luckily for the hares, no one sang the dreaded S-H-I-T-T-Y  T-R-A-I-L song.  Between handfuls of chips & mouthfuls of adult beverages, most bashers said they'd enjoy another bash, & CK even hinted (threatened?) a "Screw For A Brew" bash, date unknown.  Should we dare imagine what that might mean?
