| Our 52nd *un was hared by Just Windy & Just Willie, this
*un set a new record - 3hrs 18min total, and the hares were DFL. In attendance: ReRun, Thunder Pony, Sticky Banana, Just Cori (virgin, brought by Just Windy), Just Shawn (virgin, brought by Banana), Just Willie and Just Windy (the hares, who were renamed). Trail name = The Sundowner's Trail (aka Ankle Roller): this was selected because it was past 10pm and we were still on trail, and several people rolled their ankles and fell the hell down. Just Windy was named Corn Dogger for several reasons: she & Willie seem to always talk about selling corn dogs with friends, Cooter put dog food in the hashit (which she got for discussing where she should pee on trail during the hash) on the 5/19/06 hash and because we know she totally dogged Just Willie for making the trail so long). Just Willie was named Double Dipper because we ran for at least 3/4ths of a mile over old trail without knowing whether we were right or not - we were totally lost after the 1/2 down. FBI = Just Cori FRB = Sticky Banana DFL = Double Dipper A true circle was not held because it was so freaking late and we were so amazingly tired. Banana and Just Shawn fell at least twice each, but no blood or real injuries, which is good. The only departing hasher was Corn Dogger for Memphis, but luckily she'll be back to visit soon. |
