| So it has come to our attention that we have, through no
fault of our own, run trail number 80 again. No matter, at least there was a trail,
a pac and cold beer. We met at Ringold Plaza off exit 348 in GA and about 7 folk who
were not afraid to cross the check point into GA joined the 2 hares. The hares were
off a bit past 2pm laying a walkers trail and an over achievers trail. Hugh brought
the long trail out toward the Ringold Telephone Co. and back into the nearby dry creek to
battle some serious shiggy while Sticky B brought the walkers down the road to the beer
check in a tunnel. Eventually, after nettles, cows, barbed wire, broken glass,
typhoid, dead creatures and used condoms, the runners came to the same beer check to find
Hugh lounging by his truck. 1:45 on trail thus far. Eventually, after about
ten water crossings and going under I75, all gathered at the finish by the Ringold water
treatment facility. (2:33 on trail for the runners!) We drank our fill and headed
