| Shiggy Mama and Captain Fro Ranger again hared ChooChoo's Bad Moon Rising hash, and yet again, they managed to host
a fantastic event. Fro was Ricky Bobby, with Shiggy being the Baby Jesus that Ricky
Bobby prayed to so often. Just Rob was Duffman, and Just Laura was Pocahontas.
ReRun McNally and Thunder Pony were Jay and Silent Bob, respectively. Twat Do I
Smell? and Tit Wringer arrived with no costume, wearing regular hash clothes... unless
their costume was "Gay Gym Workout Buddies." Chip Off The Old Twat was a
boner-fied prisoner from the Department of Erections, Just Randy was a pirate, complete
with gun, sword and gloves in case it got cold. Mustard Panties was Scooby-Doo
(again), Just Aunt Cathy was Mrs. Marcellus Wallace (complete with in-chest syringe) from
Pulp Fiction, and Mustard's Mom was a pirate, also. Ghost Rider was Joe Dirt and
Tickle Mi Hare was his daughter, a very large chested wet t-shirt contest winner. During
chalk talk, Fro detailed two very important envelopes to be opened at specified times, to
which he gave to Tit Wringer and Thunder Pony. He also explained there would be 4
prizes: one for Best Costume, one for Best Original Hash Song, and one for anyone (up to
two) who talked someone off the street into wearing a costume and participating in the
hash.
Fro and Shiggy departed, and after a 10 minute head start, the group left Chattanooga
ChooChoo's main bar and exited right out of the main lobby towards the electric shuttle
garage. A regroup was found, which is where Tit Wringer opened his envelope, which
contained instructions detailing all should board the zombie bus and exit at 7th and
Broad. While waiting, the group met a very funny Biz Marquee-esque man who
apparently was interviewing various hashers with poignant questions such as to Tickle Mi
Hare, "Are those real?" and to Thunder Pony, "You're a woman?".
During the bus ride Biz couldn't keep his hands off Tickle Mi Hare's rack, and all the
other shuttle riders enjoyed the overall merriment as well (several riders whipped out
their cameras to capture the group... and Tickle's tits).
Soon the bus reached the destination and all were off, hashers following white chalk
and walkers following pink. After leading all through some very good urban
intersections, whichy-ways and bad trails downtown, the group (after getting lost for a
period at the corner of Market and 4th) headed towards the river. Banana lead all to
the hill to Cameron Hill, which Fro & Shiggy had everyone free-climb last year, but
the trail was cold. ReRun back-tracked to the last mark, but before he could lead
everyone the wrong way the walkers found the correct path. The second regroup was
found near the river, where Thunder Pony presented her envelope,
which instructed all to board the water taxi/haunted boat (with beer!). While on the
cruise the pack fielded many questions about the purpose of the group (beer!), and also
sang "My
Name Is Jack," probably to the shock of many boaters.
After a short cruise (which at circle, Fro and Shiggy said they watched from the bridge
high above), the pack again split up. Runners were lead through the construction at
Frazier and Market Street, towards 27, before turning back towards town and past North
Shore then over to Veteran's Bridge. During the hash, when ReRun (as Jay) passed
Northshore, a customer stood up and leaned out the front to shout "Snoogans!"
proving ReRun's costume was recognized. Thunder Pony, who was on the walker's trail,
was also recognized, with someone walking past her saying, "It's Bluntman!"
At the end of Veterans, all went up-up the stairs and through the restaurant/coffee
shop area, finally coming to rest in a wooded area not to far from the downtown police
station, where a cooler full of golden nectar awaited all.
Fro performed circle, and after violations were given (Just Rob/Duffman drank from his
Duffman boot because he had a new broken foot boot on the other), he informed all of his
disappointment that no off-the-street virgins were talked into completing the trail.
Tit Wringer and Ghost Rider really did try, however, even changing a tire for a
couple in hopes of talking them into hashing with us.
No vote was needed - the Best Costume award went to Tickle Mi Hare for her wet t-shirt
contest winner costume. Only two persons submitted an original song, Thunder Pony
and ReRun McNally. Thunder Pony's song is here (or here) and
ReRun's song is here (or here or here).
After a vote, the prize for Best Original Hash Song went to ReRun McNally, his
second time capturing that title. Thanks for creating new songs, TP and ReRun!
After circle, all joined at Hare of the Dog for grub and grog (they now have
Yuengling!). Yet another fantastic Bad Moon Rising hash,
Fro & Shiggy - can't wait till next year!
